At Egress Pros, we don’t just meet code requirements—we exceed them to ensure your basement is as safe, functional, and efficient as possible. Here’s how!

Window Improvements

• Beyond Code Space Efficiency: While code requires a minimum of 9 square feet of space in the well, it doesn’t specify how the window should operate within that space. Our windows are designed to open inward, ensuring that they don’t impede the well space, making escape easier.
• No Crank, No Hassle: Unlike traditional crank windows, which can fail over time, our windows feature a single-action handle for quick and reliable operation, either pulling into the room or tilting at the top.
• Efficient Screens: Our screens are designed to slide from left to right for ease and speed, eliminating the struggles often associated with traditional screens.
• Safety First: All our windows are manufactured with tempered glass, providing an extra layer of safety for first responders.
• Custom Solutions: We offer custom-sized windows to navigate around obstacles, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal functionality.
• Energy Efficiency: Our windows are Energy Star Rated, helping you maintain a comfortable and cost-effective home environment.

Egress Wells

• Exceeding Space Requirements: While code calls for 9 square feet in the well, our wells go beyond this, providing extra space that enhances safety for first responders.
• Durable One-Piece Design: Every well kit we install is a one-piece unit, ensuring durability and longevity.
• Quality Materials: All our steel wells are made from galvanized steel and are enamel-coated for additional protection and longevity.

Egress Covers, Grates, and Ladders

• Code-Compliant and Smart Solutions: We install all kits with grates and covers because it’s not just code—it’s the smart thing to do.
• Push-Off Covers: For quick and easy egress and ingress, our push-off covers are the best option available.
• Custom Covers and Ladders: We offer custom covers and ladders for egress systems not installed by Egress Pros, including hatches to fit your specific needs.
• Durable Grates: All our grates are powder-coated, ensuring they withstand the elements and last for years to come.

Additional Safety Features

• E-Sticker: Designed to help first responders quickly locate the egress windows, enhancing the safety of your home.
• Sump Pumps or Dry Wells: Protect your home from water damage with our sump pumps or dry wells.
• Water Sensor: Every installation includes a water sensor, providing an additional layer of protection.
• Grab Handles:  To ensure everyone, regardless of size or physical ability, can easily exit the basement in an emergency, we install grab handles in every well.
